P51-D Val-Halla
A frequent visitor to Abbotsford Airshow every year is the Val-Halla Mustang. Other than a bit of sharpening and some minor noise removal no "Steverex" was added to this photo.

Gumman Bearcat and Super Marine Spitfire
During the war bird section of the airshow the Grumman Bearcat and Super Marine Spitfire fly past in formation.

Breitling Jets
Sorry about this image. Lots of haze and smoke when I took this shot. This is the Breitling jet team from Dijon France.

Screamin' Sasquatch
In this image someone took an old Waco Biplane and strapped a jet engine to the underside. They call it the Screamin' Sasquatch. It moved along pretty good.

F-18 With This Year's Color Scheme
Here are a couple of quick shots from the weekend. Lighting was poor as usual on the show line at Abbotsford again this year with excessive smoke and glare and the light coming in the wrong direction. Did my best though and managed to pull out a couple of good images despite the conditions.

Spitfire (Abbotsford Airshow)
Used the old neutral density filter trick to blur the propeller on this image. Pretty hard to get a nice sharp image of the body of the plane as the shutter speed went way down to 1/125 of a second and I was hand holding at 400mm. All in all not too bad though.
